Review Your Stay at Newhouses.
Allenheads, Northumberland NE47 9HX
Newhouses was built in 1788 by Sir Thomas Blackett. Standing 1400 feet above sea level, it was originally a short row of cottages provided for workers in the Allenheads Leadmines. Warm and comfortable with fantastic views over the fells and open all year, there are 5 beds in 2 twins and a single room. One is en-suite while the other shares a bathroom with the single room. We live in the adjoining cottage but you have your own sitting room, dining room and kitchen.
